My Selfish Love
drowns all protest of other
kinds of love-
it takes precedence over
your feeble attempts
to reach out,
because I am not hesitant,
because my beloved knows
my yearning mind-
a mind that seeks only
to bring joy
at other's expense.
All my actions
are Justified,
for what greater power
over passions and intellect,
is there but Love?
So love ME,
just as I LOVE YOU,
and to hell with everything else.
